COACHING

1. Are your coaches trained in first aid?

All of our coaches have undergone first aid training programs and regularly retrain to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest procedures. There will always be a first aid kit on site for emergencies.

2. Are your coaches CRB/ DBS checked?

All of our staff hold enhanced CRB/DBS checks, which include a criminal record check. Not only this, but all staff members have also undergone safeguarding children training.

3. Will my child be covered by your insurance?

Yes. We are fully covered by insurance and have specific public liability insurance that ensures your child will be covered.

4. Is my child looked after if I am running late?

All of our staff will be the last to leave the venue. If you are running late, don’t worry, simply contact us and let us know. Your child is in safe hands!

5. What happens in the event of bad weather?

At most of our venues, there is a sports hall on site and sport activities can be taken inside. We will always do our best to ensure the session runs as planned.

BOOKINGS

1. Does my child have to book in advance or can they turn up on the day?

Unfortunately we cannot accept children that turn up on the day. All of our courses must be booked in advance for the purpose of effective safeguarding. This also ensures that children do not turn up to a fully booked course.

2. How do I book a place on a course?

Please fill out the appropriate letter and return with payment to VSA by the specified date. This is the only way to guarantee your child's place - return as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

3. What do I do if a coaching session is fully booked?

Due to health and safety regulations, we only allow a specific number of children to coach ratio. If the session/ course is fully booked, please contact us and we can add you to a waiting list and notify you if there are any cancellations.

4. Can I change my booking?

If you contact Visionary Sports Academy within 3 days of the start date of the course/ session to change dates, we will endeavour to swap your child on to a different course/ session of equal value. This may not always be possible and ultimately comes down to the discretion of VSA.

5. What happens if the course is cancelled?

In the unlikely event that your course/ session is cancelled, Visionary Sports Academy will offer you a full refund or alternatively offer your child a place on an alternative or rescheduled course/ session.
